GERMANIA FARM MUTUAL POLICY

Germania Farm Mutual Insurance Association was formed in 1896 to meet the needs of farmers and rural communities. We offer policies specifically designed to meet the needs of rural and suburban property owners. These unique policies can be written to cover your residence, whether it is of conventional construction or a Mobile Home.
As a Farm Mutual, Germania is able to offer a policy unmatched in coverage for the rural Texan. In addition to providing coverage on the dwelling and its contents, our policy also covers many additional items that are on small farms and ranches.

Some of these additional items include:

Outbuildings

Farm Equipment

Liability Insurance:

As a companion policy to your property coverage, Germania offers separate comprehensive personal liability and farm liability policies issued through Germania Insurance Company.

Conditions that exist at your residence and your actions on and off your premises can lead to injury or damages for which you can be held legally responsible. Whether you live in the city or the country, rent or own your property; if you have assets (land, savings or car), they should be protected against lawsuits. A liability insurance policy will pay attorney fees, investigative costs and other legal expenses required to defend you in case you are sued. In addition, the policy will pay the damage award, up to the policy limits, if you are found legally liable.
Germania also offers a Farm Liability Policy which allows for coverage of farming activities.

Ask yourself the following questions to determine if you need liability insurance:

  • Do you have personal assets? ( a home, autos, land, a business, savings )
  • Do you own a secondary residence or rent dwelling?
  • Do you have a pet?
  • Do you have children?
  • Do you have watercraft?
